Apple CEO Tim Cook sat down with Bloomberg Television’s Emily Chang for an exclusive interview from the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in San Jose, San Jose on Monday June 5.
The company is now pursuing integration of artificial intelligence with car technology. According to Cook’s statement, Apple will produce car patents by combining three different factors in the field of autonomous. These factors are explained as self-driving technology, electric vehicles and ride-hailing. These three things seem to be areas where Apple would like to head for the automobile in the future.
In the interview on Bloomberg Television, Cook was hesitant to disclose whether Apple will ultimately manufacture its own car. “We’ll see where it takes us,” Cook said. “We’re not really saying from a product point of view what we will do.”
