There’s a heated debate going on right now in the tech community about the future of artificial intelligence.
Earlier this month, Elon Musk voiced his fear about Artificial Intelligence, saying that it will create massive job disruption and called for preemptive government regulation.
Musk has said a runaway super-intelligence presents an existential threat to humankind.
But not everyone agrees with him.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg chimed in on Monday via Facebook Live to say that Musk’s “doomsday scenarios” about Artificial Intelligence are “pretty irresponsible”.
Zuckerberg went on to share his optimism about the future, saying that “AI is going to deliver so many improvements in the quality of our lives”.
Elon Musk’s response to that?
He said that Zuckerberg’s “understanding on the subject is limited”.
