Dr. David Levy, author of the book “The Evolution of Human-Robot Relationships: Love + Sex with Robots” and Artificial Intelligence specialist, claims that marriage to Robots will come true until 2050.
Speaking at the International Congress on Love and Sex with Robots held on December 19-20, 2016 at the University of London, Levy says that robots used especially in the field of industry and in the field of information Technologies to facilitate our lives, will enter our bedrooms soon.
In addition, Levy is so sure that robots will offer an alternative in partner selection in the near future. Though these works have been enthusiastically welcomed by many, some experts have begun serious debates about whether they are ethical.
As some experts continue to discuss ethical issues in this regard, a study by Kate Devlin from the Department of Computer Science at the University of London shows that 40% of 263 male subjects will get a sex robot in five years.
With developing artificial intelligence, robot designs have gained a very realistic appearance. Robot manufacturers have begun to produce the famous sex humanoid robots that looks like famous Hollywood stars. Some humanoid robots that look like Scarlett Johansson and Pamela Anderson are on sale in some Asian countries. This situation, however, disturbed the celebrities. They accuse the humanoid robots producers of not taking their permissions.
We were aware of robots’ taking over most jobs and artificial intelligence could end mankind, but we were not aware that humanoid robots with artificial intelligence may take our lovers.
